Holly Border Placemat is an original Christmas placemat concept for wholesale and custom development. The design features small holly leaves and berries at the edges, with a palette of ivory, red and green.
Pattern, placement and color
A flat perimeter motif frames an open center for the place setting.
Color direction: ivory, red and green. Final shades are agreed using approved references and the developed sample.
Suggested fabric and construction
Suggested fabric direction: woven cotton or a cotton-blend base suitable for the proposed decoration. Fiber content, fabric weight, hand feel and any backing must be agreed during sampling.

Proposed technique
Border embroidery.
The proposed embroidery translates the motifs into stitched details. Thread selection, stitch density, backing and the balance between texture and fabric stability are confirmed through sample development.
