Porch Star Kitchen Towel is an original July 4th kitchen towel concept for wholesale and custom development. The design features a simple large star with a narrow stitched border, with a palette of flax, navy and brick red.
Pattern, placement and color
The motif is concentrated in the lower display band, leaving most of the towel surface plain.
Color direction: flax, navy and brick red. Final shades are agreed using approved references and the developed sample.
Suggested fabric and construction
Suggested fabric direction: a woven cotton or cotton-blend towel base. Composition, weight, weave, absorbency and shrinkage requirements must be agreed and evaluated during sampling.
Fabric status: These are starting recommendations, not a confirmed material specification for an existing stock product.
Proposed technique
Applique and embroidery.
The proposed embroidery translates the motifs into stitched details. Thread selection, stitch density, backing and the balance between texture and fabric stability are confirmed through sample development.
